The District Chief Executive for Biakoye in the Volta region Nana Louis Akattah has passed away, Starr News can confirm.
Akattah died Sunday morning at the Margaret Marquart Catholic Hospital at Kpando, where he has been on admission since Friday.
According to Starr News’ Volta regional correspondent Lambert Atsivor, Akattah has been unwell for some time now.
Some regional National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives and colleagues of the DCE including the Volta regional Minister Helen Ntoso are already in Nkonya-Ahenkro, the district capital to commiserate with the late DCE’s family.
