NPP bags 18 million cedis at a fund raising

The Twifo-Heman-Lower Denkyira constituency branch of the National Patriotic Party (NPP) realized 18 million cedis at a fund raising rally on Wednesday.

Mr Agyeman Poku, chairman of the party, said the amount would be used to build a party office and purchase a pick-up vehicle for the constituency.

Mr Poku commended the government for initiating a number of agricultural projects including the mass spraying of cocoa farms.

He expressed optimism that the party would massively win the 2004 general elections and appealed to the constituency executives to step up their education campaigns to enable NPP win more supporters.
