Boy, 7, murdered; heart, tongue missing

Police in the Eastern region are investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing of a seven-year-old boy at Dokrotwiwa some days ago.

The decomposing body of Michael Ofosu was discovered without some vital parts Monday.

Seven people have already been arrested in connection with what is believed to be a ritual murder.

Speaking to Starr News’ Eastern regional correspondent Emmanuel Kojo Ansah, mother of the victim Mercy Addy said her son meant everything to her and hopes the police will exact justice for her.

“His tongue, heart, eyes and most of his vital parts were missing when we found him.

“Even his head was severed off the body and placed by him including his hands,” she narrated.
