Fuel prices increased by NPA

There has been an upward review of most petroleum products by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).

The review announced on Saturday, May 16 and expected to take effect from Sunday, May 17 sees a nine per cent price increase for most of the fuel products.

Premium, for example, sees a nine per cent increase from Ghp305 per litre to Ghp333 per litre.

Kerosene also sees the same percentage increase from a previous GHp292 per litre to GHp319 per litre.

Gas oil (Diesel) goes up to GHp324 per litre from GHp297 per litre.

Though there are no changes to the prices of RFO and premix fuel, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) increased by nine per cent from Ghp264 per kilogramme to GHp288 per kg.

Unified and Kero Mines recorded 4 per cent prices increases.
