The much anticipated ‘Dumsor’ vigil is currently underway in Accra.
The peaceful protest which is being championed by actress Yvonne Nelson is aimed at pressurising government to resolve the three-year power crisis.
Reports say there are about three hundred police officers ready to provide protection for the demonstrators who are mainly actors, actresses and musicians.
1,000 People are ready to march through the streets, according to report.
