Don’t blame me for murder of African Americans – Danaa

The Chieftaincy Minister, Dr. Henry Danaa has condemned attempts to blame him for the murder of two African Americans in Akwamu in the Eastern region.

Police at Akosombo exhumed the bodies of the two African Americans a day after they got missing.

Their Lawyer, Samson Lardy Anyenini has accused the Chieftaincy minister of acting in a manner, which that has worsened the security situation in the area, leading to the death of the two African Americans.

But Dr. Danaa in a response to Starr News said he has done nothing wrong to be implicated in the gruesome murder of the two expatriates.

According to him, “even if there is a chieftaincy matter, that does not give anybody the right to take somebody’s life, it is wrong, unacceptable and we should condemn it”.

“Crime is crime and when a crime is committed it is the duty of the security agencies to get the person and prosecuted and if found guilty punished to become a deterrent to others.

“So people who try to link criminality to disputes do not help anyone…we have a lot of chieftaincy disputes across the country”.

Meanwhile, two people are being questioned in connection with the murder of two African Americans.
