Western Regional Health Services organize health walk

Dr Sylvester Anemana, Western Regional Director of Health Services has advised Ghanaians to undertake regular exercises to maintain healthy bodies.

He was addressing participants in a 10-kilometer health walk organized by the Western Region Health Services at Takoradi on Saturday.

Dr Anemana said regular exercises brought relief to the body systems and enhanced the free flow of blood.

He said the walk would be a regular affair and urged the public to participate in it as a means to promote their health.

Nana Kwaw Ampem II, Babehene of Sefwi Wiaso traditional area, who participated, called on the youth to take keen interest in all health issues.

The 10-kilometer walk, which started at the Regional Administration, attracted a large number of people including workers of government departments and institutions and the general public.
