Paul Boateng Visits Ghana

The British High Commision has announced that the Rt. Hon. Paul Boateng, MP, Chief Secretary of the Treasury and the first British Cabinet Minister of African descent, is to visit Ghana from Sunday, May 25 to 28.

This is the Rt. Hon. Boateng’s first official visit to Ghana since he became the Chief Secretary to the Treasury (CST). During the visit, he will meet with President Kufuor, other members of government, the Asantehene, the Okyehene and representatives from the local business community.

A statement from the Commision says the visit will focus on the British proposal of International Financing Facility (IFF) and bilateral relationaship between Britain and Ghana.
