Ex-AIDS Ambassador, Joyce Mensah donates to patients

Former Ghana AIDS Ambassador, Joyce Mensah, last week, celebrated her birthday in a special way by donating some items including adult diapers, toilet rolls with a bucket of washing powder to AIDS patients at the Police Hospital.

The former ambassador who donated the items to the deprived ones on her birthday, revealed that she decided to donate to the AIDS patients this year because most AIDS patients who are on admission at the hospital are mostly neglected by their relatives – no visits.

“What these patients need mostly is adult diapers, which is very expensive. Mostly, nurses have to contribute to buy these items for them which are a huge burden on them so I decided to support them this year, but two years ago, I also donated to Korle-Bu fever Unit.” She revealed to Mustapha Inusah

Mr. Raymond Aholu, an AIDS patient who received the items on behalf of the AIDS patients at Police Hospital, expressed his appreciation and said he’s happy Joyce Mensah has remembered them and prayed to God to give her strength to be able to do more for others going through the same situations.
