Bolga landowners threaten to slaughter occupants

Tension is mounting in Bolgatanga, the Upper East region as a group of landowners threaten to slaughter some occupants of their lands.

The lands were reportedly given to the occupants who relocated to the area decades ago.

But descendants of the landowners are threatening to slaughter the occupants for leasing their lands without their permission.

Starr FM’s Upper East regional correspondent, Edward Adeti reported that the angry landowners are calling on government to immediately intervene and return their lands or will be forced to attack the occupants.

“The only thing that would solve the problem is for government to intervene if government does not intervene then the best thing to do is to enter there and slaughter them,” one of the land owners told Starr News.
