Headmaster walks out WASSCE candidates over GHc22 PTA levies

Scores of final year students at Ningo Senior High School in the Greater Accra region had their exams interrupted Tuesday due to nonpayment of PTA levies.

The students who are taking part in the ongoing WASSCE were sent out of the exams hall for not paying the Ghc22 levy.

The headmaster allegedly made them stand outside for several minutes before allowing them to continue their exams.

One of the students who spoke to Starr News on condition of anonymity said the situation could affect their performance.

“We were writing our second paper when the headmaster entered and said everybody should get up and so we all stood up.

“He then asked those owing to get out and so we went out and stood there for many minutes before we were asked to come back into the classroom,” she narrated.
