Prez Mahama arrives in Tamale on working visit

President John Dramani Mahama arrived in Tamale on Saturday, on a day’s working visit to some parts of the Northern Region.

He was accompanied by Alhaji Baba Kamara, National Security Advisor, Mr Kwasi Quartey, Deputy Chief of Staff, and Mr Baffour Bonney, Presidential Advisor.

The President and his entourage were received at the Tamale Airport by Alhaji Mohammed Muniru Nimuna, Northern Regional Minister, and Mr Haruna Iddrisu, Minister of Employment and Labour Relations.

During his stay in the region, President Mahama would inspect and inaugurate the Savanna Cement Factory, the Produce Buying Company dealing with Sheanuts, and address the Gonjaland Youth Association, all in Buipe in the Gonja Centre District.

He would later in the after address the Konkomba Youth Congress at Saboba in the Saboba District.
