Dr Agambilla calls for support for NPP in Upper East

Dr Aghesika Agambila, the Deputy Minister for Ports, Harbours and Railways, has called on the Upper East Regional Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to map out strategies that would strengthen voter confidence for the party to win the 2004 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

He said as leaders of the party in the region, they should exhibit characters that would win more people for the party.

Dr Agambila made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Bolgatanga.

He commended the government for initiating projects in the region and said the region would get more development projects if the people supported the government to win the 2004 elections.

He said the government had obtained funds from external sources to rehabilitate the regional hospital.

Dr. Agambila pledged to work diligently in his new ministry to improve the country’s exports and imports sector and improve the living conditions of the people.
