A Sunyani-based legal practitioner, Nana Obiri Boahen, has threatened legal action against ex-President Rawlings for his active participation in partisan politics since leaving office.
Also to be joined in suit is the Attorney-General, as government spokesperson on legal affairs.
Nana Boahen contended that the ex-President’s actions runs contrary to a provision of the constitution which says that ex-head of state, should lead a life worthy of emulation and which transcends ethnicity and partisanship.
