President of Chad arrives in Accra

President Iddris Deby of Chad arrived in Accra on Wednesday on a day’s official visit.

He was met on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport by President John Dramani Mahama and a large number of dignitaries.

President Deby inspected a guard of honour mounted by troops from the Ghana Army commanded Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama.

There was also a large number of Chadians who waved flags amidst drumming and dancing to welcome President Deby.

While in the country the Chadian President is expected to hold discussions with President Mahama on measures in the sub-region to fight the Boko Haram menace.
