Charge Titus Glover For Contempt: United Cadres’ Front Urge

PRESS RELEASE
The United Cadres’ Front (UCF) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has viewed with deep concern, the current debate on the President’s State Of The Nation’s address and the manner some members of Parliament are conducting themselves in the House.
We particularly refer to and see comments by the Member of Parliament for Tema East, Hon. Titus Glover, bordering on the GYEEDA trial of some officials as very unfortunate. In fact his input on the fight against corruption is rather contemptuous on the on-going trial.
His out-pouring is too prejudicial and especially the platform on which he asserted that those who are supposed to be tried in GYEEDA case has been left off the hook and probably innocent culprits are being tried.
We see this as very reckless and urge the Attorney General’s Department to site the Honourable Member of Parliament for contempt
The United Cadres’ Front equally consider the post commentary of the Woyome’s criminal trial ruling as very absurd especially now that the NOTICE OF APPEAL has been passed to proceed. Unfortunately some of the comments which pre-sees the appeal as a hoax are coming from legal brains who, in our estimation should have exhibited a sense of caution on this case
Signed
Comrade Efanam Nyaku Felix
