Twin-city special school calls for support

The inmates of the Twin-city special school in the Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolis may soon go hungry as its creditors have threatened to stop lending to the school.

This is because the authorities of the school had not been able to pay its creditors for well over a year now.

Mrs. Elizabeth Ameoworwor, who confirmed the story to the Ghana News Agency said, “I am going round looking for new creditors, in fact I cannot allow these children to suffer”.

The school is currently in distress as government had not paid the feeding grants to ensure the efficient running of the school.

Mrs. Ameworwor said the school faces a lot of challenges with regards to healthcare, electricity and vehicles and called for assistance from corporate institutions.
