Accra,(Greater Accra Region) 14 Oct. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today advised all travellers to or through Cairo, Egypt, to other destinations to ensure that they secure all necessary visas before embarking on their journey. A press release in Accra from the Ministry said ”whilst the Ghana mission in Cairo is prepared to assist Ghanaians generally, it will no longer entertain requests for introductory letters for visas from Ghanaians transiting through Cairo to other countries.” Such travellers are therefore advised to secure all necessary visas before embarking on their trips to or through Cairo to avoid undue hardships.
