Service personnel told to lead responsible lives

Mr. Ken Gyamfi, the Western Regional Director of the National Service, has called on personnel to lead morally responsible and upright e lives to guarantee them a bright future.

He said without discipline and responsibility to duty, nation building and self-development cannot be achieved.

Mr. Gyamfi, who was interacting with service personnel, said positive work ethics was therefore needed to raise good future leaders for the country.

Dr. Fredrick Otu Buah, Medical Superintendent of the Takoradi Hospital who took the members through a lecture on HIV and AIDS, told them that the sexually active among them should engage in protected sex to avoid contracting the disease.

Mr. Ebenezer Asante, Metropolitan NSS Director, mentioned some NSS offences as lobbying, failure to accept posting, self-posting and evasion of service.
