Youth Performance at Ghana @58 in Toronto

Ghanaian-Canadian Youth from SDA and Methodist Churches Excel in Performance at Ghana@58 in Toronto

Call it a parade with precision by well trained youth and you would be right! At the beginning of the celebration of Ghana’s 58th Independence Day Anniversary in Toronto on March 7, 2015, the ‘Fa Nyame’ Adventist Youth (Pathfinders) from the Toronto Ghanaian SDA Church and the Youth Brigade of the Ghana Methodist Church, Toronto put up a splendid display of skills in marching as guard of honor for inspection by the new Ghana Consul General in Toronto, Honorable John Bosco Dery-Kpebesani.

Smartly dressed in their uniforms, the youth from the two churches held the invited guests, Nananom, the clergy and the fairly large crowd at the function spell-bound with their ‘military-like’ parade.

No wonder, Mr. Roberto of the Police Foundation of Toronto who was present at the function could not help presenting two set of $20,000 scholarships to the President of GCAO for the benefit of youth in the Ghanaian community in Toronto who want to enter the Police Force.
