Two persons have been confirmed dead and several others injured after a vehicle on which they were traveling Saturday skidded off the road and landed in a nearby forest on the Avatime Biakpa road near Hohoe in the Volta region.
The surviving victims are currently receiving treatment at the Ho regional hospital.
Volta regional Police Commander Peterkin Yentumi Gyinae who confirmed the incident to Starr News’ Lambert Atsivor said investigations have begun into the cause of the accident.
