The body of a young man who drowned at the Last Hour Beach in Takoradi, has been washed ashore.
The body found at about 0800 hours on Sunday by some members of a Keep Fit group.
The deceased, yet to be identified, is believed to have to gone to the Allan and the Vienna Beach with two colleagues from the 2BN Barracks at Apremdo.
They were said to be playing with a ball in the sea when the ball was shot deep into the sea, and in his attempt to retrieve it got drowned.
