E/R NDC Parliamentary caucus congratulates Debrah

The National Democratic Congress’ Eastern Regional Caucus in Parliament on Friday congratulated Mr Julius Debrah, outgoing Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, on his appointment as the Chief of Staff at the Presidency.

“We the members of the Eastern Regional Caucus of the ruling National Democratic Congress extend a warm hand to you on your appointment as the Chief of Staff at the Presidency,” said a statement issued in Accra and signed by Mr Magnus Kofi Amoatey, Member of Parliament for Yilo Krobo and Secretary to the caucus.

“While thanking His Excellency the President for your appointment to this high office, we applaud your steady rise from the position of a Regional Chairman of the Party through to a Regional Minister and later a Cabinet Minister of Local Government and Rural Development,” said the statement.

The caucus urged Mr Debrah to continue to exhibit the high sense of humility, devotion, loyalty and dedication that projected him to his present position.

“We know you will continue to make the Eastern Region proud.

“Be assured that we of the Eastern Region Caucus of Parliament will continue to support you in the successful discharge of your duties,” the statement said.
