Judge hears cases in flooded court room

The Accra District Court three is hearing its cases in floods today, Thursday February 19, 2015.

Many of the district courtrooms have been flooded following Wednesday’s downpour, Starr News’ Wilberforce Asare has reported.

Asare noted that the judge hearing the case involving the eight suspected Nigerian pirates heard the case in a flooded room.

Meanwhile, the judge has directed the Bureau of National Investigations to allow the suspects access to their lawyer.

It is yet to be known if the night downpour caused other damages in Accra aside the incident in the courtrooms.
