Black Stars team is spiritually weak – Rev Owusu Bempah

Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Ministry, Rev Bempah has lashed out at players of the Black Stars who consult mediums while at the same time praying to the Almighty God for spiritual help ahead of matches.

While Christians and Muslims in the country pray for the team ahead of crucial matches, some of the players resort to consulting mediums and sprinkling concoctions on the field.

“Some of the Black Stars players including the goalkeeper Razak Brimah must stop serving two masters, it makes the team spiritually weak, and it is the reason why we lost the trophy.”

“While pastors and Muslim leaders pray to the Almighty God for the team some players also counter that by consulting lesser gods. How can the team win under these circumstances.” Rev Bempah lamented.

The Black Stars missed the AFCON trophy by inches after losing to Ivory Coast on Penalties.

Ghana has been in the finals of the AFCON nine times and have missed out on five occasions.
