ECG erects new electricity pole

Less than 24 hours of publishing that an electricity pole in Adentan, a suburb of Accra, was on the verge of breaking due its state, Today can confirm that authorities have swiftly responded by erecting a new one to replace the old pole.

The new pole was erected yesterday afternoon which also saw ECG staff wiring the pole with electricity cables.

According to residents in the area, around 8:30 P.M., last Tuesday, they spotted some young men erecting a new electricity pole to replace the old broken pole.
