KDC initiates police station project

The Klagon Divisional Council (KDC), has initiated the construction of a Police Station, to help reduce crime wave within the community.

Nii Bortey Klan, Klagon Mantse, who disclosed this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at his residence at Klagon, near Adjei Kojo, said when completed, the project which is at the lintel level, will be a big relief to the Council, because it will enable the police to clamp down on criminal activities in the area.

Nii Klan commended churches, public-spirited individuals and organizations, which have contributed in diverse ways towards the project, for their support, and appealed to others to emulate the kind gestures, to ensure the early completion of the project.

On the forthcoming District Assembly Elections slated for March 3, the Klagon Mantse advised the contestants to engage in healthy and decent campaigns, devoid of insults and acrimony, reminding them that the electorate will vote for only those who do ‘clean politics.’
