AMA Launches Newsletter

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has launched a newsletter to publicize its activities and provide information and notices to residents and visitors of the metropolis. The first edition of the quarterly publication has been freely distributed to selected groups, organizations, corporate bodies, ministries, agencies, departments and individuals.

AMA Chief Executive, Solomon Ofei Darko, said the assembly intends to make subsequent editions of the publication available to a wider section of the population including households and shops to enhance communication and information dissemination in the city.

He asked members of the public including professionals and experts to contribute ideas and other inputs through features and articles that would help the assembly achieve its development objectives.

He appealed to assembly members to use the newsletter as a medium to draw attention to the problems in their communities and also to publicize ongoing and completed development projects in their areas.
