Re: Tema Motorway light poles, grass burnt indiscriminately

After a close look at the photos and another visit to the site as indicated by some of the readers through the comments, I realized there was some imprecision on my part, in the article.
Many poles are down on the motorway due to various reasons: accidents, bad placement, or deliberately cut down.
Certainly, the fire used to clear the grass below them did not help considering the fact that the wiring inside cannot stand the heat.
The reason I decided to amend the previous article and write another piece is to comment on something really bothering me. I got the impression that because the poles were not damaged by the fire, what I reported is not right, and thus misled readers.
I agree it was not precise, but this one will make it right in all the contexts and gravity. What I thought was the product of someone’s stupidity or carelessness, is actually the result of a premeditated crime; does this make it any better?
I leave the answer to the readers and the action to the authority in charge; at least they will have a clue of the entirety of the damage, plus its contribution to the number of accidents on that stretch of road.
