Police in the Volta region have arrested two Police officers for possessing and attempting to transport weed.
The officers, Lance Corporal Frazer and a yet-to-be identified Sargent, both of the Ho Police command, were arrested Saturday evening while transporting the illicit substance from Have in the Afadjato South district to the Ho Township.
The driver of the vehicle they were using for their operation is suspected to be the personal driver of the Ho Police Training School Commander.
The Ho District Commander, DCOP Peterkin Yentumi-Gyinae who confirmed the incident to Starr News’ Osei Owusu Amankwaa said investigations are underway to gather more information on the matter.
