Lawyer for the former Aids Ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, is confident that his client will be exonerated if she is charged over her fake HIV status scandal.
The CID has questioned Dzidzor Mensah over claims that she lied about her HIV status before being appointed ambassador.
The CID has hinted that she could be charged with deceit based on the outcome of their investigations.
But her lawyer, Kojo Koranteng in an interview with Starr News said his client has done nothing wrong.
“She is not at the wrong side of the law, so I don’t see what wrong she has committed. She is claiming she hasn’t lied…basically the court would determine what deceit is.
“She doesn’t panic, during the interrogation she gave very accurate answers and I’m sure the Police themselves were happy,” Kortanteng said.
