Blessed Club launched at Akim Oda

Blessed Club in the Birim Central Municipality has presented items valued at GH?5,000.00 to the Paediatric ward at Akim Oda Government Hospital.

It was part of the formalities to launch the club at Akim Oda New Town on the theme: “Children the Hope of the Country”.

The items donated include provisions, fruits, detergents, and flat screen TV. Members of the club also cleaned the hospital premises.

Mr Isaac Oduro- Appiah, one of the founders of the club said its objectives are to be part of the local development programmes and activities such as communal labour.

Mr Asare Kwabena Nkansah, Municipal Chief Executive, expressed appreciation for the efforts of members of the club and encouraged them to d more.

He asked other clubs in the area to forge collaboration.
