The Akyem Foaseman Nkabom Kuo, an association based in the Akyemansa District of the Eastern Region has donated items valued at GH?2,500.00 to the aged at Ofoase.
The primary objectives of the association are to promote and maintain unity among the people in the district and the nation at large.
Mr Bismarck Frimpong of the association said unity promotes one’s commitment to be helpful to others, hence the donation to about 30 aged persons in the community. The association has made similar donations to some schools and communities.
He asked members of the locality to cultivate the habit of unity and volunteerism.
