Dan Borsor Foundation donates to Pentecost Church

Dan Borsor Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has presented 150 pieces of stainless steel chairs worth Ghc30,000.00 to the Takinta Pentecost Church in the Western Region.

It also donated Ghc30,000.00 for the ceiling of the church.

Mr Daniel Borsor, Executive Officer of the NGO, said the items were part of the organisation’s Christmas gift to the church.

The NGO had, for the past five years, embarked on a number of philanthropic gestures in the Jomoro District including sponsoring the basic schools inter-schools quiz, presenting quantities of bed sheets and mattress to the Half Assini Government Hospital and contributing Ghc10,000 to construct the Mission of the Pentecost Church at Takinta.

Reverend Isaac Koda Plunge, District Manager of the Church, thanked the Foundation for its kind gesture and urged other personalities in the area to emulate the shining example of the Foundation.

The Foundation also organised a Christmas “Lucky Dip” on December 28, where 20 people won various prizes including mobile phones, half pieces of Wax prints, blenders, and gas cookers.
