Youth urged to contribute towards nation-building

Reverend Kingsley Amponsah, Head Pastor of Powerful Finger of God Ministry, has called on the youth to eschew negative tendencies, and work harder than before, and contribute their quota towards national development.

He noted that the youth were the future leaders of the nation, and that every negative action taken by them, may derail the country’s developmental process.

Rev. Amponsah was delivering his Christmas Message at a special Thanksgiving Service at Madina in the Greater-Accra Region.

He said ”As youth, you must depend on God for all your needs, and that indulging in anti-social vices, such as drug abuse, and internet fraud, can only ruin your lives.’

Rev Amponsah, therefore, urged them to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, the only one who gives life, and pray to Him for their survival and success.

The Head Pastor tasked Christians to open a new chapter by refraining from acts that hinder national development.

He said the church was in the process of acquiring a land in the Manya Krobo District in the Eastern Region, to put up a Bible School, basic school to university level, and health service from clinic to hospital.

Others, he said, are Agricultural Institution, Vocational, Printing Press, ICT, Orphanages, and also take care of the poor, the needy and the aged.

Rev. Amponsah said the church will also establish branches in all the regional and district capitals of the country in the near future, to cater for the spiritual, educational and health needs of the poor and the needy.

He appealed to drivers to desist from driving under the influence of alcohol, to save lives during the Christmas festivities.

He called for love, peace and unity among Ghanaians, to ensure a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year celebrations.
