Work progresses on Adarko-Jachie-Tikrom road

Upgrading works on the Adarko-Jachie Junction-Tikrom road project to bring some comfort and ensure the safety of people are steadily progressing.

The 1.9 kilometre road has been neglected for decades and many are not only excited but eager to see the job gets completed without delay.

Mr Kwaku Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, Ejisu-Juaben Municipal Chief Executive, on Monday inspected the GH¢2.5 million project and expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work done by the contractors.

He said everything would be done to ensure that all bad roads in the municipality were put into good shape to boost the economic activities of the people.

The MCE urged the people to stand with the Government in its efforts at bringing development to them.

Mr Charles Bawuah, Assembly member of the area, said they were grateful for the project and described it as “dream come true”.
