NPP loses Ashanti Reg. Deputy Organiser

The Ashanti regional deputy organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Adu, has passed away, the party has announced.

His death occurred on Sunday, December 21, 2014 after an illness, a statement from party chairman Paul Afoko announced.

“Coming at the festive season, it definitely strikes as a very hard blow to the family of the deceased and the entire NPP fraternity, especially, the Ashanti Regional NPP.

“On behalf of the NPP, I wish to extend our sincere condolences to the Ashanti Regional NPP and particularly, to the family of the deceased.

“As a true patriot and democrat, Kwame Adu made worthy contributions to the NPP and to the country as a whole and while we are saddened by his loss, we are hopeful that his soul will rest in perfect peace,” the statement added.
