NDC race: Yammin predicts over 70% victory for Kofi Adams

The deputy Ashanti regional minister Joseph Yammin has declared his support for the candidature of Kofi Adams in the national organiser race of the ruling National Democratic Congress.

According to the former Ashanti regional secretary of the party, the spokesperson for former President John Rawlings has the agility needed to organise the base of the party for victory in the 2016 election.

Speaking on the Ultimate Breakfast Show with host Prince Minkah Friday, Yammin said Adams will secure more than 70% of the votes to become national organiser of the NDC.

Adams, who is deputy general secretary of the party, is contesting incumbent Yaw Boateng Gyan for the National Organiser slot.

Some key personalities including, former president Rawlings and the disqualified national organiser aspirant Emmanuel Aboagye Didieye have already declared their support for Adams.

Meanwhile, the incumbent General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has, however, backed his colleague Boateng Gyan to retain the post.

The NDC will tomorrow (Saturday) hold its congress in Kumasi in the Ashanti region to elect national executives to steer the affairs of the party ahead of the 2016 elections.
