Beads bazaar held in Ashaiman

Ashaiman Beads Society in collaboration with SOS Children’s Villages-Ghana under the Family Strengthening Programme (FSP) has organised the second edition of the International Beads Bazaar in Ashaiman.

The programme brought together youth in beads making and creative art industry to develop their skills and talent to boost productivity and create jobs.

Speaking on behalf of the FSP Coordinator, Mrs Diana Fiati, Mr Michael Appeaning, Project Officer, said the programme is looking to improve economic conditions of the youth to reduce the pressure on their families.

Naa Amui I, Queenmother of Ashaiman who was the chair person for the occasion called for unity, peace and stability among the citizens to encourage the youth to engage in gainful ventures.
