Ecobank branch manager shot dead

The Branch Manager of Ecobank Ghana at Abrepo in Kumasi in the Ashanti region has been shot dead, StarrFMonline.com can confirm.

Richard Sallah was killed in his home by suspected armed robbers, Friday dawn.

Sallah was rushed to a nearby hospital after he was shot between his mouth and nose.

He was declared dead by authorities of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

The 39-year-old banker was also a Reverend Minister of Lighthouse Chapel International.

The Ashanti regional Police Commander DCOP Kofi Boakye who confirmed the incident to our Ashanti regional correspondent, Isaac Bediako Justice, said investigations have begun into the matter.
