Workshop for master craftsmen ends at Mampong

A three-day workshop on labelling, packaging and record keeping organised for 25 master craftsmen of diverse disciplines has ended at Asante-Mampong.

The workshop, which sought to assist the participants to attain perfection in their various fields, was co-sponsored by the Sekyere West District Assembly and the Business Advisory Centre (BAC) of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

Mr Samuel Kusi-Appiah, District Co-ordinating Director, who presented certificates of participation to the master craftsmen, urged them to be innovative in their fields.

Mrs Elfreda Boakye, a Resource Person from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi said he was happy about the resurgence of vocational and technical education in Ghana.

Mr Kwaku Darko, one of the participants, thanked the organisers for assisting them to upgrade their knowledge and skills.
