‘Sodomy doctor’s’ trial: “frail” looking ‘victim’ testifies in court

The 16-year old boy allegedly sodomised by a medical doctor testified in camera Wednesday.

The alleged victim, according to Starr News’ Wilberforce Asare who was in court, looked frail and weak.

“I spotted this young boy at the centre of this case; he looked very frail and could barely walk.”

Dr. Sulley Ali-Gabass is facing two counts of defilement and having unnatural carnal knowledge of the alleged victim contrary to sections of the Criminal Code.

The court Tuesday ordered prosecutors to produce the victim for hearing to commence.

The court presided over by Justice Rita Agyeman-Budu said the case would be heard on a daily basis to speed up the trial.

Dr. Gabass has, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Lawyers involved in the case are tight-lipped on the boy’s evidence.

The case has been adjourned to Thursday November 27.
