‘Suspected cocaine lady has mentioned names’-Omarie Wadie

Chairman Omari Wadie has dared the Narcotic Control Board Board (NACOB) to deny their knowledge of the activities of the Naayele Ametefe, the suspected Ghanaian lady arrested at Heathrow Airport in connection with some cocaine in her possession.
According to the former New Patriotic Party Chairman of the Ayawaso Wuogon Constituency, Nayele had had similar charges against her, and went into hiding outside the country for some years.
She later returned into the country with the knowledge of NACOB, yet they did not effect any arrest.
He accused the suspect of changing her name on several occasions to avoid arrests.
She is Nayele Ametepe, ‘aka’ Angel and at times Madam Adu Gyamfi.
Nayele traveled to London using an Austrian passport on 9th November aboard British Airways flight BA 078 from Accra but was arrested at the Heathrow Airport.
Omari Wadie speaking on the Morning Show of the Rainbow Radio International in Accra, Omari wadie believes Nayele is politically connected in her drug dealings and hence NACOB’s unwillingness to effect any arrest even though NACOB is aware of her residence.
He accused some faceless State officials for working to ‘kill’ the story and seek her release from the Security official in London.
‘She has mentioned some names of people connected with the drug deal which NACOB is aware but no arrest has been effected,’ he added.
He further called on stakeholders not to allow this case to go off the hook and use it as a bait to deal with the increasing drug menace, and purge the image of the country.
