SDSCC donates to orphanages

Apostle Ephraim Danso, General Overseer of Seventh Day Sabbath Church of Christ; Shalom, has donated bags of rice to Mother cares Orphanage at Agona Swedru, in the Central Region and Osenase and Man Shepherd orphanages in the Eastern Region.

He told Ghana News Agency in an interview that it was an annual activity of the church to make such donations in keeping to the biblical teachings, which says: “We should be our brother’s keeper and love thy neighbour as thyself.”

Apostle Danso said the donation goes to the physically challenged, widows and the aged and appealed to other public- spirited persons to sustain the objective.

In another development, the church has ordained five deacons in Birim Central Municipality. They were sworn in by the General Overseer of the church, Apostle Ephraim Danso at the ordination ceremony held at Akim Oda branch.

Mr Bernard Owusu, newly ordained District Head Deacon, on behalf of his colleagues asked for cooperation from the congregation to help manage their leadership roles effectively.
