ICT project reaches advanced stage

CONSTRUCTION work on the multi- complex Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in Information and Communication Technology has reached an advanced stage.

The project, which is jointly being sponsored by the governments of Ghana and India, started immediately after President J. A. Kufuor?s official visit to India in August last year, when agreement was reached.

The Government of India will provide latest state-of-the-art computer hardware such as servers ,desk tops, printers and scanners while the government of Ghana will provide the building and the technical and administrative for the institute.

Sources close to the project expressed the hope that the project will be completed on schedule.
