UHAS appoints new Registrar

Dr Cynthia Sena Kpeglo, has been apppointed as the new Registrar of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) by its Governing Council.

Dr. Kpeglo joined UHAS from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), where she was the immediate past Registrar of the College of Education Studies.

She takes over from Mr Kofi Siabi-Mensah, who proceeds on mandatory retirement.

A statement signed by Mr Siabi-Mensah and copied to the Ghana News Agency, indicated that Dr. Kpeglo’s appointment takes effect from November 1.

Dr Kpeglo, an alumnus of UCC, holds a PhD in Educational Leadership from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee (2004), after a Master of Philosophy Degree in Educational Administration and BA Arts (Honours) at the University of Cape Coast in 1998 and 1992 respectively.

She is a product of OLA Senior High School in Ho (1980-87).

Dr. Kpeglo joined the University of Cape Coast as a Junior Assistant Registrar in 2, 000 and was confirmed Assistant Registrar in April 2001.

She was promoted to Senior Assistant Registrar in October 2006, and then to Deputy Registrar in the Division of Academic Affairs in August 2013.

Dr. Kpeglo has published a number of academic papers and journals, and attended many international conferences.
