Akufo-Addo’s wife supports needy

Rebecca Akufo-Addo, the wife of Nana Akufo-Addo, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has made a donation to the Teshie Orphanage.

The items included bags of rice, cartons of soap, plantain, yam, tomatoes, banana, cocoyam and pineapple, among others.

The former Greater Accra Regional Women Organiser of the NPP, Mariama Karley Amui, former Ayawaso Central Organiser, Esther Lamiley and two other party faithful, Ernest Asamoah and Richard Darko made the donation on behalf of Mrs Akufo-Addo yesterday.

According to the group, Mrs Akufo-Addo wants to show love and affection for the children at the orphanage.

Management of the Teshie Orphanage expressed profound gratitude to their benefactor, praying to the Good Lord to continue to bless her.

It urged other Ghanaians and benevolent persons to emulate the kind gesture of Mrs Akufo-Addo, who is affectionately called Lady Rebecca.

Mrs Akufo-Addo has made similar donations in the past to help the needy in society.
