Let’s pray against the spread of Ebola-Primate

The Spiritual Head of the Brotherhood Church, Primate S. K. Adofo has admonished Ghanaians to seek God’s guidance and pray for his intervention to stem the deadly Ebola Virus.

He said it is only God who can heal those already infected with the deadliest ever haemorrhagic viral disease and stop its further spread to other countries.

Primate Adofo, addressing the congregation at a week-long annual national spiritual retreat of the Church in Kumasi, said the intractable nature of the disease, the fight of which has become a nightmare to the whole world should tell everybody to turn to God for help.

Special prayers were offered for Ebola victims and for God to help the doctors and scientists to come out with a cure for the virulent and deadly disease, which has killed more than 4,000 people.

He said HIV/AIDS already took a toll on the world’s population before anti-retroviral drugs were invented to control it and called on infected countries to look for ways to contain the disease.

The Spiritual Leader advised the congregation to lead healthy lifestyles to prolong their lives.
