PSWU celebrates annual social programme

The Accra Sector of the Public Service Workers Union (PSWU) on Saturday marked its annual social programme which aims at bringing public service workers together through recreational activities in order to reduce stress and enhance productivity.

The programme included sporting activities such as volley ball, football, table tennis, basketball and local games like ludo, oware and dame.

Organisations like Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, Electoral Commission, National Vocational Training Institute, Ghana Tourism Authority, National Sports Council, Electricity Company of Ghana, Ghana Atomic Energy Commission (GAEC) and Abibigroma Drama Troupe attended the programme.

GAEC emerged the overall winner of the event.

Mr Benjamin Sam, Chairman of PSWU, advised public and private sector organisations to engage in social activities to facilitate productivity.

He lauded Stanbic Bank for being the main sponsor of the event.
