FTC Suspends Ruling On Tsatsu’s “No Case” Submission

The Fast Track Court trying Tsatsu Tsikata, former Chief Executive of the GNPC, for willfully causing financial loss to the state, could not rule yesterday on the submission of no case by the accused.

Mrs. Justice Henrietta Abban, the presiding judge, consequently adjourned the case to March 10.

According to her, since the last adjournment, there had been a constitutional twist to the matter.

That, she said, was in view of a writ at the Supreme Court challenging the law under which the accused was being tried.

She said, “In view of this, I have to wait for the decision of the Supreme Court. They have to decide the fate of this case.”
